Cape Elizabeth, Maine

Cape has two Community Garden locations with a total of 90 individual plots. The gardens are located next to the Gull Crest playing fields and at Maxwell’s Farm on Spurwink Ave.

Gardeners pledge to use organic methods, and in addition to tending their own plots, spend 6 additional hours during the season to help with general garden duties.

In each garden, several plots are reserved to grow vegetables for the Plant-A-Row for the Hungry program. Produce is donated to area food pantries.
